The home is maintained with a lot of care and love by the Cyprians, who are one of the oldest families in Fort Cochin. The Cyprian's history, here, can be traced back to over 400 years. So, who else could be better suited in giving visitors real insight about the place? Eden Garden has been operating as a successful homestay for the last two years, receiving many repeat clients. This is largely due to the personalised attention given to guests by Mel Cyprian and his wife, Judith. The homestay has three spacious guest rooms that are bathed in sunlight and offer calming views of their beautiful, fish pond. The home is enveloped by fruit-bearing trees, herbs, spice plants that are a testament to Tony’s green thumb. The greenery within the complex keeps it cool, a welcome respite from Kerala’s sultry climate. The Cyprians are proud of the town’s secular character, and point out that churches, mosques, temples are within walking distance of the homestay.
